Winn-Worth Betco promotes housing incentives and opportunities in Winnebago and Worth Counties. The incentives vary depending on what each community and county offers and the grant opportunities available at any given time to home buyers. Winnebago County Housing Trust

Winnebago County has a housing trust incentive program which has money available to those building new homes or multi-family housing in the county.

Single-Family Housing
$5,000 is available for newly constructed single-family homes. The home must be:

• New construction only (additions and improvements do not qualify)
• 1,200 square feet or more
• All forms of housing projects subject to property tax, such as:
• Must apply at the start of construction
• Owner occupied

Multi-Family Housing
Projects qualify if:

• Must be a minimum of 8 units
• minimum of 900 square feet  per unit
• $2,500 per unit  - maximum of $20,000 per year per project
• Must apply prior to start of construction
